In the past, spoke tension release is often repeated 2, 3, 4 or more times to reach stable spoke tension during wheel assembling. The main reason of this issue is due to the rim's drilled spoke hole burrs being compressed. The will increase stress concentration at the contact area between nipple and rim.
To overcome this problem, we have made a design modification on the spoke hole corner to support nipple better called Tension - Torsion Stability ( TTS ) system. It improves spoke tension tuning process when building wheel and makes spoke tension more consistent.

Measure spoke tension after each tension release cycle ( 4 tension release cycles) and compare the results of TTS and without TTS. According to the test results, number of tension release cycle obviously declines when applying TTS system.
